Meh I prefer void in most areas, I mean come on, space magic ?!?! As opposed to , oh I know I'm dead haha I came back, oh what's that, you a have a matador?!

Self res just feels cheap and like people use it with the intention of not caring if they die or not, like they've got some secret nobody knows about lol ?!

I have Purifier Robes to counter that. The only thing that's stopping me if you manage to shoot me somehow.
-
Somehow ?! Countering self res even with purifier robes just needs one of the top 4 shottys and a melee I thought ?! And if there's 2 on your orb (trials) then yeah you may take one put but unlikely you'd survive both of them shotgunning you imo. May be wrong though as I've only recently levelled my robes, sexiest my lock has ever looked too lol vog gloves, poe boots, purifiers and trials helmet, with thunserdevil or the Orange/Brown shader from taniks looks smart as fook ;)

I've been able to get through a lot with Purifier Robes. It actually helps when I die near the enemy teams heavy ammo and just self res. Then, clear everything up because they're all blind. Pretty much that ends up changing the game because I pick up the ammo. Also, Purifier Robes helped me capture B at Twilight Gap.

Nice ! I snipe most of the time so don't tend to worry about self res most of the time thankfully, trials is different mind

I am a Sunsinger at heart, but I do have fun running raids as a Voidwalker. It's worth noting that short of the 35 PoE I probably use Radiant Skin. Unless I'm doing Dragons, then I use Song of Flame for faster completions. I think we can all agree that Every class can be cheap if it wants to ;)
-
Yeah I guess, but I think self res is just too much personally, yes it's easy to counter but it's almost the snake of the supers if you get me , everyone else's super is out there for everyone to see, where as a self res seems more I don't know, childish lol ?
-
I can understand that, but like you said, it's easy to counter. Especially in ToO, whenever my team downs a selfres and we think he might use his super, we sit on his orb with shotguns, atleast one of us does. No super for him :). It's certainly a strategy, and in a high-risk setting like ToO I'd be in physical pain if some poor warlock I was fighting went with Radiant skin. It's strong, yes. But it's better against a group where you can come around a corner and nobody expects a hulking death mass firing grenades like autorifle bullets. I dont have a problem with it, I guess it's because of all the times in ToO (which I completely forgot to mention, I use Fireborn exclusively there (unless I'm voidwalking (which isnt ordinary for me))) Where I've self-resed only to eat a shotgun blast or 5. I try to avoid using it because I keep telling myself 'Any strategy based on you dying is probably a bad one'

Exactly !
