• Well then, Tempest. All you need to do is ask the top players in Crucible. Most, if not all, of them will agree that Hunters have the best subclasses for PvP.

  • Incorrect. This is the very reason we use per capita when we measure income, crime etc. Per capita is a method to compare using equal group sizes when the populations vary in size.

  • More kills per super use = better Should've clarified that.

Sorry don't see a stat on how many times a super was cast. I see super kills and a percentages associated with a subclass. It would be pure speculation to say supers were cast an equal amount of time for every subclass.

  • The poster said that the Hunters super "is a roaming super" which accounts for the inflated number of kills and also somehow invalidates the OPs statement. I was replying to that. I'm not making a statement regarding the statistics, I am making a statement regarding the posters logic process. Roaming super = more kills (according to poster), and more kills = better super. In other words, his logic is flawed. I didn't make any argument concerning his analysis of the actual statistics.

Saltiness is strong in this one.
I really don't understand where you're going with the comment. It's drab and lacking in purpose. Shh, it's okay. Someone will love you here.
• There is a term called margin of error. There will be no equal stats in natural population. There is only a bit more than 1 percent difference so he is able to compare them.

  • First off if you are going to put down someone because they lack intelligence then at least attempt to type in proper English.. It's you would not you'd.Secondly, you can compare populations when there is less than a 1% difference. You will never find a proper sample in real life with equal proportions unless you intentionally pull out a equal proportion instead of observing the natural proportion. That is what is called a margin of error, so for this case we can easily say there is a margin of error of +/- 2%. The rest of your post is just nitpicking the interpretation of the data and is strictly opinion. Since we are on the topic of opinion then judging a super by how many kills it gets ( which everyone does with the exception of defender ) then it's more than clear hunters have this on lock down by a large margin. All the classes are fairly balanced in my opinion. People tend to gravitate to whatever seems the most powerful and seeing that there is only a very minor difference between classes played, it's pretty clear no one class completely dominates.

"This also does not take into account basic logic such as the skill level on average of the players playing those classes, the game modes( we're they taking advantage of an objective to get kills, also both of the Hunter supers are roaming supers as opposed to the instantaneous supers of the warlock and Titan (aside from sunsinger) this also does not allow for a direct comparison because roaming inherently can grant more kills but this does not however mean they are better" First of all, he took a basic sample size of all player, that would assume there are players of all kinds of skill levels in each class. Most players have one of each character and would be represented in all classes. Second, he did represent the number of people playing each class. 34.2% plays as Hunter 33.6% plays as Warlock 32.2% plays as Titan He also showed what class was doing the best. 1st place: Hunters at 35.3% 2nd place: Warlocks at 32.7% 3rd place: Titans at 32% Third point you made was pointless. Of course a roaming super is better and hunters only have roaming supers, which is represented in the number of super kills shown here. 1) Bladedancer at 207,596,562 kills (21.73%) 2) Gunslinger at 179,520,390 kills (18.79%) 3) Striker at 178,059,836 kills (18.64%) 4) Sunsinger at 15.71% 5) Voidwalker at 12.60% 6) Defender 12.52% Yes, hunters are the best PvP class, I'm sure most realized this a long time ago. I do agree that when the new supers come out we will have better data. That is after playing for three or four months though.

  • You cannot DIRECTLY compare, but you can still compare. You can draw some conclusions without stretching the truth. With a roughly even distribution of classes, it can be assumed that there is a fairly even distribution of skill across the classes. However the bladedancer classes perfectly suited for PvP with the instant ready weapon perk, blink, arcbolt, fast recharge or 1 hit kill melee, and melee kills restore health perks.
