Bungie just going to make us pay for another 2 months of grind. It's not an "experience" if it's boring and a waste of my time. If this dlc ends up being like the last 2, I'm just going to put Destiny on the shelf and let it collect dust cause my $40 will be going to games I know I will enjoy like Halo 5, Fallout 4, Battlefront, or Black Ops III.
-
I'm with you on this, not worth $40 to me. It's alright though cause I'll buy everything later at the price it's worth to me.
-
Who complains about 40 bucks. It takes more to fill up my gas tank.
-
$40 isn't too much. For everyone who says otherwise: you must value things differently than the people who think it is worth $40.
-
Everybody values things differently. $40 isn't too much if you have a job. Gas, a nice dinner, or a trip to the bowling alley for example all cost more than $40 for only an hour or a few hours of enjoyment. $40 for hours or days of enjoyment seems good compared to these. Before the entire -blam!-ing forum jumps on me to call me a "dick riding Bungie -blam!-", this is not dick riding. This is simply an explanation of my view. If you think $40 is alot, that is your opinion. But compared to real world applications, it is an okay price.
-
How does one value something that has not been measured yet?
-
It was, what, 20$ for each expansion? If this game is bigger than the last two DLC's combined, there's your price right there
-
They've obviously shown it's nothing like the last 2. Pay attention.
-
Dont buy it move on to something else.
-
So don't buy it?! It's not mandatory you can choose not to purchase TTK
-
Meh, everyone values it differently. Already preordered it, I enjoy the game and find this to be worth it for all the hours I spend playing.

UK has to pay £40...Bungie needs to chill
-
The thing that annoys me is that I basically paid 100€ for being a beta tester, and then they demand 40€ from their most loyal players for a piece of content that might be worth 20€. I guess that we are to blame though, because we willingly paid 20€ for their first 2 expansions, which were worth 10€. And thus accepted their price scheme for the TTK. If we idiots paid 20€ for something with basically no content (on top of the 60€ for the game with no content) then it's obvious that Bungie will demand more money when they deliver more content. But the thing that annoys me the most is that the complete edition for newer players costs 60€. While I would have paid 140€ for the same content. I know what Cartman would say: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_KqqRPvM_Sw

How about we wait till release and see some reviews before outright declaring the content is nowhere worth the price tag.

Bungie has constantly given the middle finger to destiny's most loyal and dedicated players. I bought the original guardian edition that included both dlc, day 1. As of last week's update (with video about 'year one player rewards yours WITH PURCHASE of ttk') I have no plans to buy future content. My decision is entirely based on their business models and treatment of day one players and their time investment. While I don't think this dlc should be priced at $40 for standalone, that and weapons not carrying over weighed least on my decision.

$20 nightfall buff hype.
