Best scout rifle?
What do you consider the best scout rifle in the game? If it's rerollable what are the best perk combo? Does it work in pve, pvp or both?
EDIT: I made this before ttk and I still see it appear in the recents. Good to see there's a lot of variety in opinions

I like the last extremity. The one from the crucible master is pretty good. It's a 3 shot head shot in crucible.

Tlaloc is the best in my opinion. Especially with fireborn sunsinger or the melee and grenades build with the stormcaller. Overflow is a beast. But that's warlock only and used exotic. Non warlock and legendary. Evey ones all over the hung jury from dead orbit. Firefly stability and lots of ammo. I would agree. Except I got a fomulon Tuonela SR4 from banshee for 2500 glimmer armsday package. Has has same stats and firefly and a perk for max stability. Only 13 round magazine. But honestly thats decent. Plus high reload with reload gloves it doesnt hinder me. But thats for pve. Pvp I just use hand cannons. So no comment on scouts there sorry.

I got the gunsmith suros dis-43 and it's great in pvp, for pve I got the vanguard not like the others and that gun wrecks. It's has pretty much a constant damage booster with explosive rounds.

5 RepliesMy goal is to collect all legendary and exotic scout rifles from year 2 I have Hung Jury Not Like The Others Boolean Gemini Out of all of them hung jury has better perks but "Not Like The Others" explosive rounds really help when fighting enemies like phalanx's it's really a matter of what fits your play style best if you aren't the rushing type I would go with hung jury and if you are the "Not Like The Others" is definitely a good choice the sight on the "Boolean Gemini" is a little bit tougher to use when it comes to getting crits but none the less they are all great scout rifles.

If your careful and constantly aware of your health nothing can out DPS ToM people that say it's only good on the death singers and oryx just don't know how to properly play with it. Outside of tlalocs amazing overflow perk when you play as a storm caller and have pc as your last perk, the underrated grenadier perk on the Tlaloc becomes amazing. Couple that with the claws and not only do you have a fast firing high impact scout rifle with zero kick you will have grenades and melees for days.

As far as year two goes, for me it's the vendor Hung Jury but..... When Tlaloc has the perk active it is a monster. Fires like MIDA, hits like Vision and amazing stability.
