Best scout rifle?
What do you consider the best scout rifle in the game? If it's rerollable what are the best perk combo? Does it work in pve, pvp or both?
EDIT: I made this before ttk and I still see it appear in the recents. Good to see there's a lot of variety in opinions

The Omolon Scout rifle its its variants. For PvE. Tlaloc for Warlocks (class-specific exotic) is just a -blam!-ing beast. The Last Extremity/Hung Jury is also an awesome weapon. Especially if you can get a roll wtih Firefly. Boolean Gemini and the Suros DIS-43 for PvP.

8 RepliesMy personal favorite is Treads Upon Stars not entirely sure why just everything feels nice with it. However I am grinding for a 2nd one in hopes of a better perk roll but the one I have now is alright.

For non-locks, the hung jury is all-around excellent. I like my 'Treads Upon Stars' for the raid- it dropped with will of light and two accuracy boosts that seem to be active near constantly.

Just got jade rabbit from a drop. It's great gun. But I find myself always going back to hung jury to save the exotic slot for something better

For legendaries, Hung Jury is so good. It was my first y2 legendary and I used it through the whole TTK campaign. For exotic if you're a warlock, The. Tlaloc. It is so good especially if you use self res or Transcendence Stormcaller if not a warlock Boolean Gemini I guess.

check out the last extremity on my titan....has a crapload of impact and the range is fully maxed out...has crappy rolls but im happy with it enough to max to 310

2 RepliesI like Last Extremity but mine came with shitty rolls. Seems like every other scout is high rate of fire, low impact. Last Extremity reloads slow and only has a 12 round magazine, but it hits like a meteor and I just really like the way it handles. It's the only legendary scout I've found that I like. For the exotics, Boolean and Jade Rabbit all the way.

1 ReplyI am enjoying my Omolon Tuonela. It has rescue mag, hand-laid stock (meh perk) and firefly. It's comparable to Hung Jury (really, I can't tell the difference between the two yet but I'm still testing). It handles very nicely and the firefly perk is awesome in PVE. The alt perk (Danger Close) is helpful in PVP but again, I haven't extensively tested this yet. So far I like it better than Hung Jury buy my Jury didn't come with a very good roll.

I recently got Jade Rabbit, and it's pretty amazing. I don't use it in Strikes, though, because it becomes difficult to get the perk to proc, and I become the King of Assists lol. Boolean Gemini is fantastic. Probably my favorite Exotic scout at the moment, as I don't have Touch of Malice yet. Still saving up the Marks for Hung Jury, though.

I just went 22 and 4 in a Skirmish match with my Last Extremity. I was lucky enough to get rolls that max out the range so I just kept distance and murdered fools
