Best scout rifle?
What do you consider the best scout rifle in the game? If it's rerollable what are the best perk combo? Does it work in pve, pvp or both?
EDIT: I made this before ttk and I still see it appear in the recents. Good to see there's a lot of variety in opinions

I have the Tlaloc, Jade Rabbit, Boolean Gemini, and a legendary Tuonela I'm working to upgrade and so far nothing beats the Tlaloc when your super is charged.

I have a stable Hung Jury on my Warlock. Fun gun to use.

I have a random drop hung jury on my titan with crazy stability but I find the rof a bit slow. It's quite nice for mid to long range. I enjoy using a dis-47 more though, great rof but very much mid range. I also have the voc ttk equivalent, the name i forget but its quite nice too. I'd say experiment when you get one.

I have a Tuonela SR (the one with stats similar to Boolean Gemini) with max stability perks and Firefly. Pretty, pretty lights when heads/juiceboxes pop

1 ReplyI've always been a scout rifle guy. I swore by VoC for PvE and Mida for pvp for year 1. I have yet to obtain the Gemini. And I don't really like the stats on tread among stars. But I absolutely love my Hung Jury with triple tap and firefly. It's a beast in PvE. But the higher fire rate and 20 rounds in the mag make it perfectly capable as a pvp scout. So, yeah. Hung Jury delivers.

Tlaloc.....it's alright before you get your super, but after you get your super is when the fun starts. The stability and fire rate is insane. It melts everything in crucible. No need to use your super when you're running around with a gun powered by your super.

Jade Rabbit. The high rate of ammo return along with the high level of stability AND fast reload makes it ideal for me.

3 RepliesOn my hunter it's a beast. Reactive reload and crowd control proc and stack, over 4K damage per headshot to tier one level 41 enemy's. No other scout does that. Almost game breaking - ring loved me that day!
