I suggest you do some research on the history of the English language. The sole purpose of punctuation is to be able to differentiate between sentences. In forums, people tend to post single sentence comments... Omitting a period at the end of the post (and you can clearly see it's the end) should not hinder your comprehension. P.S.- He is not writing, he is typing. Definition: the activity or skill of marking coherent words on paper and composing text. I have to point out the semantics to make sure you aren't confused or anything.

 • You do realize that a comma is punctuation, don't you? Semicolons and colons are also punctuation. Also, it doesn't matter that he is typing; he is still using the English language, so he should make it readable.

 • Yes, I do realize this. Although, grammar's sole purpose is uniformization of language to facilitate comprehension. You're saying his lack of proper punctuation is so drastic that you can no longer comprehend his one sentence long post. 0.o
