Seriously... The super that can kill from any range, shoots through overshields, can generate the maximum number of orbs and has the potential to nuke an entire 6 person fireteam is the weakest super... Where's the satire tag?

  • Umm so does Foh but it has a ridiculous overshield and range and golden gun doesn't. Gg gets killed easily along with bladedancer. Have TLW Thorn or a shotgun? That super is dead. Or if you hear it you hide or run away.

    If you're getting shotgunned with Golden Gun active, you're doing it wrong. Face to face, Thorn and TLW don't stand a chance either. The only weapon I worry about is snipers. Fist of Havoc has neither the range or multi kill potential that GG does. Oh and you can see FoH coming if you pay attention...

  • You can't see fist of havoc coming because there's the animation then death and it happens in about 2 seconds. And you said if you're shotgunning a golden gun you're doing it wrong, ALL THE MAPS except twighlight gap are close quarters.

  • Pantheon, Shores of Time, Widow's Court, & Rusted Lands are all ranged maps. Blind Watch, Asylum, The Anomaly, Cauldron, Black Shield & Burning Shrine all have ranged tactics. The only true CQC map is Thieves Den.

  • I don't know about you but when I play ranged maps people seem to stick to the close quarters parts of it and the close ranged maps are heavily weighted in the playlist such as cauldron.

  • I spend most of my time sniping so I look for the lanes where people have to pass through to get to the close quarter areas. TLW is my shotgun of choice.

  • Foh isn't supposed to be ranged and gg can't shoot as far as you think. And it's easy to shotgun or use TLW or Thorn to them, but if you jump high up you can't avoid fist of havoc. You should probably read the description of your subclass it says that fist of havoc is close quarters.

  • I've used Golden Gun on "A" spawn and killed the other team on "C" heavy ammo on Twilight Gap. That's about as far a shot as there is outside of the Combined Arms maps. GG has almost unlimited range and crazy aim assist if you build your subclass for it, although with 2 Hunters you should know that... FoH is supposed to be hard to avoid at close range, otherwise it would be useless. If you see a Titan max jump in front of you, you have time to shoot them out of the air or jump away/at them. If you see them charging at you or into a room, you have limited time to do something about it. Otherwise, you're -blam!-ed.

  • I've stayed at the sniper spot used gg and only gotten hitmarkers but they may have fixed that because that may have been when gg was glitched. (I'm not sure the dates when I tried to do this but have you uses the nighthawk on crota? It's awesome.)

  • You need to be using Over The Horizon to kill at that range and I've done it at various times in the last month or so, which is how I know it works. I've never used the Nighthawk on Crota, mostly all of my old raid buddies quit playing, but I do use it most frequently for PvE stuff. Love it in Solar burn Nightfall strikes with Combustion on.
