Sure, people can get offended by whatever they want. That doesn't make it everyone else's problem.

True, it's not everyone's problem. But calling out intolerance is the only way that this sort of thing will ever change. As the OP points out, for some this is literally life & death.

Except that there was no "intolerance" in the twitter post whatsoever. And when people try to shame those who even suggest the slightest hint of opposing opinion, it just makes no one take them seriously. Just like OP.

I can't control if people choose to be willfully ignorant to how others live. I can just call out gross behavior when I see it. Hopefully North learned something from how others might view him (and the company he works for) from his statement in the future.
