I think that transgendered people kill themselves in such high rates for the same reason that homosexual suicide rates were so high in the 50's.
The stigma associated with it, is so damaging, that death is preferable to 'outing' yourself.

I offered an explanation. If your reaction is anger and disgust, it sounds like you have your own deep seated issues that need dealing with. There are generally only two people incapable of empathy; people who are dealing with latent issues of their own (see closet homosexuals being violently homophobic), and sociopaths. Which are you?

Neither. I am a free person that has a right to liberty and the PURSUIT of happiness. My opinion should not matter just like yours doesn't matter to me. I was not aggressive or rude in any of my comments. I have no latent urges but if I did, they wouldn't be latent. And they also wouldn't be your business. This whole national community we have going is ridiculous.
