Okay Hicksville was very insensitive of me. As a big person and a decent human being I am now apologizing for the insensitive comment I made which is insulting for a lot of people, 66 around the time I'm making this.
To the 66 who live in rural areas or just find the insult insulting, I apologize. There are many people who live in rural areas who are decent human beings capable of apologizing even if they feel as though they did nothing wrong.
I for one know I did something wrong and as a decent human being who lives in the real world where people can apologize for insensitive and insulting things because we're adults who don't use excuses like 'thick skin' to justify being an asshole.
As you can see, a decent human being can admit their wrong doing and apologize. Even if they believe they did nothing wrong.
Take a step back and analyze what I just did. I apologized for using the insult Hicksville, which is insulting, I did not tell you all to gain a thick skin, this is what Noland North can do. It really takes no effort to apologize for something, even for someone as prideful as I am.
As you can see the world, the real one, is becoming a better place where we actually care about each other rather than use excuses for being dicks. Now Noland is no dick. He just made a mistake. Noland isn't transphobic, as far as I know, so he can apologize like a decent human being.
Apologizing is really simple. One of the easiest things to do and we learn to do at a young age. We all don't have to be prideful dicks, instead we can all be decent human beings and make the world a better place. Noland North is probably from what I can tell is not a prideful dick. So he is probably going to apologize for making an insensitive joke. Because I have faith in him.
All of you pointed out my hypocrisy which I do admit that was, a lot.
Hopefully you can learn from my kind words.
I'm sorry I offended you.
Apologies, as simple as that.

[quote]As you can see, a decent human being can admit their wrong doing and apologize. Only apologize when you believe it.

That's where education comes in. But that mostly depends on what type of person you are. I know why Hicksville is offensive, but I know many people don't know why Noland's tweet is offensive. A simple Google search of the word transgender might clear that up. But that all depends on the person and if they are willing to educate themselves. But I have faith that people can use google.
