I've played M15+ rated games scince I was two and have none of these problems. I am now sixteen and am a fully functional, social, nightmare free, violence free person. Honestly, I would not worry about it. There's a reason these games are rated 15+, 18+, etc. So long as you teach your child right from wrong, teach them proper manners and social skills they will be fine. That's not to say let them play this if they are five. This could cause nightmares yes but they are FIVE. These games are for everyone to enjoy young and old. And it's this hobby that has provided much enjoyment over the years for me. Please don't restrict this wonderful activity. Gaming connects people regardless of age, race, or gender. I hope you can experience this for yourself and change your mind.
