This is Dennis Avner, he died and police did not release how but suicide may have been the cause... This guy is no different than transgenders, he literally believed he was meant to be a cat, he mutilated his body to try and achieve this. I'm getting Flak for saying Africa has bigger problems and being called an idiot for it, but am I wrong? Look at this man and tell me how he is different from Bruce? Sure, Bruce want to stay human but on paper there is a serious mental disorder if you are willing to mutilate your body to be something you are not. Science has proved that being Gay or Straight is literally in you D.N.A makeup, that means it's genetic. Wanting to be something you are not and mutilating yourself is a mental issue, it's a serious form of insecurity and wanting attention. To encourage this instead of trying to find out WHY they do this is going to do these people a serious injustice and it's really irresponsible. Stop giving Bruce the attention he wants and he will probably kill himself.

Being gay isn't genetic, it's a choice people make at some point in their life.
-
Lol no
-
Wrong and wrong. Being straight or Lgbt+, is somewhat reflective in your genes, but by a small amount, it's more focused on social relationships. And do you honestly believe you are that mentally strong to defy normal psychology and sociology? You do not directly choose who you love, you grow into it after years of interaction of others and self-thought. (I'm not judging views, just your reasoning.)

Edited by Ice Oblivion IV: 8/29/2015 3:51:52 PM'Somewhat reflective'? Points for trying with that clause (Not convincing to me). Social relationships, sure, I'll give you that. And no, to answer your question. I just believe that being a homosexual is a choice, not something they are BORN with. That's like saying people are capable of being born (and/or concieved) gay.

How many points exactly....? (7.8/10 I hope, because memes) https://www.newscientist.com/article/mg22429963-700-gay-gene-discovery-has-good-and-bad-implications/ -Take it with your grain of salt of course.

Bonus points, dude, bonus points. The article you linked SPECULATES the idea of finding one's sexuality in one's genes. It does not say one's sexuality CAN be found in one's genes.
-
Wow where did you even get the science

His ass.
-
Her name is Caitlyn
-
"His" name
-
I agree with you on that. I'll always call it Bruce
-
Yep... If Bruce is a woman than Dennis Avner was a real tiger
-
how would you feel if you wanted to be called something and people called you something else simply because they don't agree with it for example if i called you basement dweller loner because that's what i wanted to call you and not by whatever you preferred wouldn't that kind of suck? have some respect and you might get some for once
-
still Bruce.
-
still ignorant.
-
still Bruce though.
-
you're still immature. what's your point?
-
he's still Bruce.
-
his name is Caitlin
-
To be fair, you're right. He's still a man, no amount of surgery can change his chromosomes, but he changed his name legally to Caitlyn.
-
So what you've done here is interesting you've simultaneously supported transgender people and said something that would make them burn you alive at the same time. Trasngender communities would never agree that it is a mental disorder
-
No but they do have a problem... How is it different than Dennis Avner? I think if you want to support people wanting to be something their not, you have to look at the psychology of that person and whether or not allowing them to physically change their bodies is going to help them mentally in the long run. Suicide is an issue with transgenders, why? That is the fundamental question. Bruce or Caitlyn( whatever) looks like a Man trying to be a woman. He has Man bones, and is trying to compete in women's league. This is an attention problem, he's surrounded by materialistic women who applaud plastic surgery, this is a MENTAL issue and I think encouraging him will make it worse. If people ignore Bruce/Caitlyn, there is a high chance of him falling into a depression and will probably attempt suicide. I have a grandmother obsessed with plastic surgery, I've seen where all this goes. This is a disorder similar to anorexia and muscle dysmorphia. It's a downward spiral.
