A Few Hours Ago:
Ginger sits in the control room, still adorned in his old armor, staring at a holographic projection. The hologram reveals some sort of horrible creature, terrifying to behold, but somehow also beautiful. On any other world, it would have surely been an apex predator, a savage being that would haunt your nightmares for years. On Exalin, however, it was merely prey for other beings. The display calls it a Myviten
He quickly switches to another file. This, was possibly the most deadly of Exalin's native wildlife. It was a fell creature, one that you would never dream of approaching on your own accord, but that was one of its strengths. It would lure you in, before savagely mauling you, as it was not above killing for fun. How it could communicate with you telepathically still haunted him in his sleep. The display reads Iter Mantis
Finally, he switched to another being. This was the greatest threat to other companies, and to the Ignus when they invaded, but Ginger was fortunate to have never crossed paths with it. It apparently had the strength to tear open a vertibird with its shields active, and to crush a mech inside its jaws. His files name it as a Boggert

vertibird.....

Oh, so that's where they came from. Somebody said that the base on Exalin used Vertibirds as dropships, so we just called them such.
-
yeah those are used by the Enclave in Fallout 2 and Fallout 3.

Jack appears in the contort room. His torso and chest is covered in bandages along with his forehead from the recent fight.
-
Ginger's already turned around, talking to Minerva, but he stops when he sees you "Are you okay Jack? We were just talking about wildlife."
-
He shakes his head. "I'm fine. I'm just worried about the team. Im disappointed how I couldn't uninstall the virus." He sighs.
-
Ginger puts a hand on your shoulder "The important thing is that you tried. Look on the bright side, we now know how to uninstall the virus: getting hit in the head, hard."
-
"Heh. Yeah alright. So what are you guys looking at?"
-
"Wildlife that we found on Exalin. They're all unique species, but I'm glad that they're extinct now..."
-
He looks at the species. "Damn those things look creepy and dangerous."
-
"Yep. They killed thousands of men, by the end of the expedition."
-
"Damn."
-
*Minerva comes in* "Is that what you guys fought on Exalin?"

He nods, "Yes, we encountered numerous hostile wildlife specimens on Exalin, species which have never been seen since it blew up. I'm sure Murph could tell you all about that."
Maybe they haven't been seen since we blew up the Planet?
