LOTR Trilogy or The Hobbit Trilogy?
Well?
EDIT: OK FORGET ABOUT FOLLOWING THE BOOKS. THINK ABOUT THE FILMS THEMSELVES.

LotR trilogy got progressively better, the Hobbit trilogy got progressively worse

1 ReplyLotr is a masterpeice. The hobbit trilogy is still great but they used too much cgi and made it feel childish. But they are still great movies.

I hated Frodo so much I was rooting for Gollum in the last to movies to take him out.

Hobbit is my favorite book of Tolkien's, but the Hobbit films sucked. Voted for LotR.

The Hobbit movies were terrible.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is a masterpiece of cinema, while the Hobbit trilogy is utter garbage. Voted for LotR. The Hobbit is my favorite book though. It's a lot easier to get through. LotR is pretty heavy.

I liked the latest movie the most, but the original trilogy was better as a whole in my opinion.

I never liked the lord of the rings. It took me way too long, I gues it was the age or something. I like the hobbit tho. I recently tried watching lotr but I cant stand bad quality now so I will never know how it is. (And I dont like reading books)

The Lord of the Rings was actually 3 books. The Hobbit was one book about the size of one LotR book.

The Hobbit was one 300-ish page book, stretched over 3 movies. Plus, the first hobbit movie was childish as fuc[u]k[/u]. Oh god the lines in that movie were just horrendous.

LOTR: Considering The Hobbit was only one book. Tho the movie sucked compared to the book. Like 1/3 of that stuff never happened in The Hobbit book. And some of those characters aren't even in the book!! Which really suprised me because I thought LOTRs was a really good book to movie series. Thw problem is they had to stretch one medium sized book to 3 movies worth. And hell the last one is literally one or two chapters in the book.
