I came up with an idea for a new PvP multiplayer inspired by Halo called Arena. In this game you would start out by choosing your primary, secondary, and heavy weapon archetypes for your loadout. For example, you could choose a hand cannon, shotgun, and rocket launcher or whatever. Anyway each archetype would have a default common weapon without perks or anything special like that. In this game mode there would be no radar, supers, or double jumps and it would be free for all. Throughout the game instead of special ammo and heavy ammo, there would be exotic weapon drops. These guns would have unlimited ammo but would disappear once the user is killed. So throughout the game there would be random weapons dropping that would be highlighted on your HUD that anyone could pick up. Towards the beginning and the middle of the game the primary and special weapons would be dropping dropping but the fun part would be in the last 1-2 minutes of the game when all kinds of weapons, including heavies, would drop all over the map. I think this game would be so awesome and crazy because there could be one guy running around with Thorn or something while everyone else teams up to try to kill him.
I agree with all of this except for exotics having unlimited ammo until death. Like halo, these exotics weapons will be akin to power weapons so they should have a certain amount of ammo instead of unlimited, like in halo. Other than that, great idea. Would personally like to see this implemented
