Ginger unholsters his hammer
"Well then you see NOTHING! I have always been loyal to the team, but the needs of many outweigh the needs of the few. And frankly, August, your experiments are dangerous. Whatever the hell happened yesterday was proof enough of that. If I have to kill you in order for others to live, I will."

Edited by Bardo XCIX: 8/30/2015 8:01:20 PMPhantom's Hard Light Blades on his gauntlets form I don't think Atlas has the right to decide who dies and who doesn't. And the virus? I didn't even know it existed. For all I know, you were the one who infected me.
-
"I'm insulted that you think I would risk the lives of my friends just to prove a point. I didn't create the virus, and I was just as surprised as you were when you became infected. Atlas has very little to do with this besides my presence here, and my genetic programming. Leave them out of this."
-
Edited by Bardo XCIX: 8/30/2015 8:07:49 PMAs far as you know. A puppet. That is all you are. A puppet to be used and replaced endlessly. They use you for their agendas, then kill the clone and replace it.
-
Ginger laughs, legitimately this time "You really are -blam!-ing dense, despite your pedigree. You think that Atlas kills off the clones they don't need? If that's so, why didn't they kill me during the Empire's Golden Age? Why didn't they kill me after the Team broke up? They didn't need me then. No, I'm smart enough to know when I'm disposable."
-
How do you know they didn't. They have the power to clone you after every death, personality and all. But with that, also comes the ability to erase what they don't need you to know. You've come back before without your memories. How many times do you think that could happen.
-
"The way the cloned brain works is that it is completely and utterly identical in structure. Memories that are erased simply leave empty spaces in the structure of the brain, and with the slightest hint of remembrance, I achieve total recall. I'm positive that I remember everything, which is more than can be said about you. For all you know, you created the virus, and none of us can prove you wrong."
-
Or so you've been told by Atlas. How do we know Exo wasn't the only one. Maybe your just a tool to eliminate Atlas threats. How do I know... No, how do YOU know.... You didn't kill Zara?
-
Oh shit....
Ginger instantly swings the hammer in an uppercut, the pulse created by it slams you into the wall behind you "ENOUGH!"
-
*Minerva turns the corner with her rifle up* "Was it you? All along?"
-
He turns to her "I didn't create the virus Minerva."
-
"I can't believe you. YOU BETRAYED OUR TRUST!"
-
"What the -blam!-? In NO WAY HAVE I BETRAYED YOU!"
-
"YOU KILLED EXO!"
-
"He was dangerous, so I collected a bounty. That's all there is to it."
-
"Dangerous? He was one of us! We've had bounties on our heads before! You've had bounties on your head before! I NEVER TRIED TO KILL YOU!"
-
You feel a huge pistol up against the back of your head. Python's deep voice speaks. "Stand down."
-
holographic A.I. Felix pops up on your shoulder "Hi python"
-
He doesn't listen. Python focuses on the task at hand, keeping the thought of Felix's AI in the back of him mind.
-
he stands on your shoulder
-
The Professor looks at the AI strangely from where he is standing.
-
"What?"
-
Edited by bagelbro123: 8/30/2015 8:55:14 PM"Now your standing on HIS shoulder. Well thats like cheating on me for gods sake. i've been cheated on by an AI."
-
"If I could hit you right now I would"
-
"Eh. To be honest, not the first time I've been told that."
