If i hadnt, any and everyone on their would be forced into a battle against each other, and a lot of them would die for a cause that they dont believe in. If they crashed, they could have escape, avoided getting sucked into a bloody battle with reasons they dont believe in and high chances of death."

But you seem to forget that it's natural for humans to destroy each other...so why put yourself in a situation you couldn't solve?
