[b]The rumbling throughout the cave gets very loud, and the rumbling makes it challenging to even keep balance. Suddenly, 3 huge Desert Worms begin to erupt from the walls, and charge right at the crew.[/b]

*Minerva is being surrounded because most people are retreating* "Help me!" *she dumps onto a worms back and sprints along it, spraying her arm-mounted flamethrower as she runs* *another worm blindsides her to the ground*

*the others are a bit of panic, and you hear loud digging beneath you*

[b]His gun de-materializes, and a sword replaces it.[/b] "ITS COMING FROM BELOW US!"

"Klank! shoot those other worms!"

[b]"TRAP!"[/b] [i]The warriors were taken by surprise, but the surprise was quickly dismissed as they retrieved their bearings.[/i] [spoiler]how big is the cave we're in?[/spoiler]

[spoiler]big enough that the soldiers are no where near the worms. stop bringing them into this. they are back by the entrance, oblivious to everything behind them.[/spoiler]

[spoiler]it opened up the further in we went, but still not much room for dodging[/spoiler] "SHOOT THEM!" *She opens fire, dual wielding assault rifles*

[b]he takes out his laser rifle and opens fire inside the tunnel. its illuminated by the green beams of light, and the worms gain more and more holes with every pull of the trigger[/b]

*the worms begin to focus Minerva, she is dodging them, but may not hold out for long*

[b]The Professor makes a quick decision and draws his minigun.[/b] "I HOPE YOU'RE BULLETPROOF!" [b]he opens fire on all the worms around her, some bullets hit her, but not many.[/b]

[b]The Three Battlesuits open fire on the worms with their various weaponry. Many of their weapons could pierce the worm's flesh easily, but the massive beasts were not so easily defeated. The commander shouted orders, as the Pathfinders were unfit for such close combat. They quickly stormed to the exit, escorted by drones who would repel the worms if they attempted to follow.[/b]

*Minerva is staying behind* "Where are you going? Phantom could be in here!" *the worms are converging on her as she begins to run across them, spraying her arm-mounted flamethrower beneath her*

[i][u]"they're getting out, they can't help. We're staying here."[/u][/i] [b]the commander fends off one of the Worms with his flamer, his cyclic ion cannon ripping through it's flesh.[/b]

*another worm directly hits the commander, digging through the wall on his blind side, and dragging him to another part of the cave*

[b]the commander is thrown on the ground, and stands back up. The worm has dissapeared, but he knows it will come back. And he will be ready. He waits for his prey to show itself, waiting in the true way of the Kauyon teachings.[/b]

*the sound of digging is heard directly above you*

[b]the worm bursts through the earth right over him. Out of the commander's arm extends a large, superheated blade that easily spans the width of the worm. As the worm lunges at him, it falls onto his blade, slicing the worm in half as it falls down upon him.[/b]
