K/D is the only thing relevant to you and me. It's the only testament to your skills. Why? No matter if you're thrown into a losing game (17000-9000) you can still play well (aka kill more than you die). But, chances are extremely slim that you'll be able to turn the game around and win. Slaughter house rules can, in theory, send you into losing games all day every day.
Win/Loss ratio is relevant when you compare odds against other teams in competitive environments:
1) Destiny is not a competitive game
2) If you need a full team in causal pvp- you're beyond shit
Also: you have less than 2k kills with Necrocasm- in difference to your 11k kills with exotic hand cannons (scrub load out).

Between being away all weekends, working, attending university, entertaining wife and kid- it's kinda hard to fit more than an hour of uninterrupted gaming in a day. Trials is for scrubs. Thorn and TLW doesn't make you good. Trials is all about Thorn and TLW. When 2.0 hits the game and all the scrubs leave the game I'll be happy to try squeeze in a few more games in Trials on tuesday mornings before reset. But for now, no thanks. The only one getting ghosted here is you, at least 0.3 times more often than me. I'd probably increase that factor by 1000 if I changed over to Casualstation 4. Get on my, and Xbox's level.
