I benched my thorn. Anyone else?
Honestly have grown to hate this weapon since I have benched it. Now it's all about the last word for small maps. And Hopscotch Pilgrim for ranged maps.
Anyone else finally bench the thorn? I hope the nerf kills it personally. Haha.
What's your load outs these days?

Just leveling it up. Ive had it since back in the day. Dismantled it then got it again. Just lvling it up before ttk. Doesn't matter ik but gives me something to do

I'll use it only in ToO and if my opponents are at the same skill level as me and are using it. Otherwise I'll use TLW, NLB, Messenger, or Hard Light.

TLW is just as OP and scrubby as the Thorn so I wouldn't go patting yourself on the back. And the Hopscotch? Wow, you are really slumming it in PvP.

I dismantled all 3 exotic hand cannons like a month ago and couldnt care less. I die a lot more but I'm using fun weapons now haha

I rarely use it now. I don't like to. Only when the other team has at least four and only on a couple maps where I know I will have to use it to make any headway. I love my messenger I got from finally going flawless. Also love the fang, and bad juju

I've been running with three little words since I got one during tdb. It became my go to weapon in the crucible. Right next to my judgement because I'm a scrub and can't snipe to save my life.

I've never really used it exclusively. I ran it for ONE Iron Banner about 3 months back, because I had just received it. It was decent and I was like "well I'm getting a few more postmortem kills". Last 3 iron banners I just ran all legendary weapons the entire time, don't even have an interest in tossing on Gjallarhorn or Truth really. I ran Ill Will, LDR 5001, and the Swarm a few back. Last 2 IB's I ran Timur's Lash, LDR 5001, BTRD 345. I don't get all the Thorn TLW hate I honestly don't, I have NO ISSUE killing them just as easily as other players. It does get a bit annoying when you get a chucklehead bunch of fayg lamers running a 4-6 man fireteam in IB, teaming up and all 4-6 of them are using thorn? Seriously I saw faygs doing that and acting tough, teabagging like they had skill. But in all honesty the shotguns are the thing I get the most sick of. I can't say I ever saw upwards of 80 to 90% thorn and TLW usage, but I GUARANTEE and I DEFINITELY saw upwards of 90% of IB enemies I fought running shotguns. Not like its hard to stay back and laugh as they run at me, I pop 2-3 timur's into their skulls and they're dead. Its just annoying not being able to rush or turn corners without acting ilke a bitch becasue they're likely hiding like pu$$ies ducked down perfectly still around a corner. And yeah I ran into 6 man fireteams in this IB who would duck down and hide all over the map and wait for someone to walk by. And this passes for acceptable to their other fireteam members, since they had 6 together in multiple matches they must be ok with cheesedick shotgun hidey bitch tactics.

Way before HoW dlc came out, turning Thorn and TLW into the most hated and used weapons in Destiny. Always hated TLW since i got it in november so nothing changed there lol. I hate those two weapons so much that i don't even use handcannons in PvP anymore and it was my favorite weapon to use. That hate have grown to the point that i don't even use exotic primaries that much anymore. Of course i still take out my Mida, Bad Juju, Necrochasm, NLB, Red Death and Hardlight from time to time just to mess around, or in Bad juju and Mida's case, to wreck with them. I can't wait for 2.0 even though i think the nerf to Thorn and TLW are not enough. I wanted them to make those two weapons as useful as Pocket Infinity is right now.

TLW is infinitely more offensive to me than Thorn. I won't use it as a matter of pure principle. Thorn, on the other hand, Im enjoying for one last hurrah.
