Voidwalkers > Sunsingers in Trials
Personally, I think Voidwalkers are so much better than Sunsingers for Trials. Against a good team Self Rez is a waste of a super. If you go sunsinger Radiant Skin is the way to go.

2 RepliesI agree but not necessarily because nova bomb is better, although you are generally right about self-Rez. Blink is just that much better that it makes the entire subclass better.

2 RepliesI disagree. Firebolt touch of flame Viking funeral is one of the strongest combos in the game. Sure, nova bomb can be strong if your facing an inexperienced team. The majority of your nova bombs are heavy flanks that good teams watch out for. The point is not to judge classes based on supers, but overall ability to play in the crucible. Sunsinger has an extremely overpowered grenade and melee(flame shield op) while void walker does not. Also, from a trials perspective you only get one to two supers a game so they aren't very common. If you miss a nova bomb your super is wasted, but a smart self resser will not self ress on heavy rounds or in sniper fire, they will do it behind cover and throw grenades to push the enemy back and get revives. For those of you who like to use blink, stick to bladedancer.

1 ReplyI agree completely. I love playing my main Warlock and saving my Nova Bomb for the Sunsingers that decide to self rez. Although, self rez can be a great super if used correctly. It should never be used when your team is wiped. It should be used strategically so that it causes panic amongst the other team. For example, if you have one teammate alive and he is getting chased, you should self rez to draw attention from him and hopefully rez your other teammate. However, most Sunsingers use it and try to Rambo the whole other team.

Self res is OP as -blam!-... unless you die in a retarded spot then you will just get sniped out.. fire bolt grenades are also OP as -blam!- and from what ive seen there is now armour that can enchance the burning effects of grenades and what not.

I love getting a kill and then baiting the other team to run towards the body for the revive, only to have me turn the corner and drop a Nova Bomb. Edit: It is also too easy to snipe someone coming off of a self-res with how long they get caught in the animation.

3 RepliesI thought this aswell. Having that *safe* button really impedes a basic players abilities. They think they can die without repercussion and maybe save their team with a clutch. On a more skilled player? Maybe. Get a kill, kill yourself in a good position, self revive. But a nova bomber with shatter is so much better. You can control the 3 orbs by moving the stick. Effectively being artillery.
