focus on the cabal empire take out their higher ups or fight the stranger and her rag tag group of people mostly time travelers maybe help them fight the next race of enemies the darkness takes over.

The cabal empire has been scattered and disrupted. Many of the cabal forces are now disconnected from one another. Not really an empire anymore

Their current command structure is made of compartmentalized battalions. The sect of cabal we deal with is disconnected from the main cabal branches but have their own high ranking officers.
