Ogre - Shrine of Oryx on lowest level...kill him, jump off the edge, repeat. MIDA and maxed agility helps with this. I snapped TV and watched a preseason game while I was farming them.
Hydra - Black garden, again MIDA and agility help, run up, kill the hydra, die in the hydra death blast, rinse and repeat. Been doing this one for a while. Usually on the phone with the family (in-laws) while I do this

Hehehe... I might yet resort to that. In the meantime in hoping Bungie will relent and agree that killing a yellow bar ogre or hydra counts as killing an ogre or hydra. Then we wouldn't need to farm as we'd come across enough of them through normal gameplay!

Yes, majors and ultras would be awesome to have count, as hydras and ogres don't show up too often unless they're yellow, but if grimoire is something that concerns you, there are pretty easy ways to get kills up quickly
