So i have been thinking a long time on what to say to try and give Bungie some help.
So this is how people need to look at the no advancement for most weapons.
Name one game you have played were once the lvl cap was raised, then the lvl of weapons were raised.
All year one weapons are lvl 20 weapons. All new weapons will be lvl 40.
Be happy with what is coming.

name another game that only has one set of weapons for ALL of the endgame content. Once you hit level 20 you can use every gun in the game. From level 20 to 34 it is all the exact same weapons. Most games have different weapons for each level. So they have a VERY limited selection to start with and then they make more than half of that selection obsolete. Most FPS games I have played have a very different progression setup. Most RPG games I have played have level specific weapons: you can get a weapon at one level and get it again at the next level with higher attack values. Its the limited selection that has everyone up in arms over the lack of progression.

Yeah we shouldn't complain but I wish they would revive old raids with harder difficulty and give new gun rewards for it. Even if those guns are really only viable to use in those old raids would make playing them worth while. Especially for the people like myself who have most/ all the exotics and raid weapons.

I agree, though it normally takes first hand experience of the new best toys before we can let go of our old ones *cough fatebringer cough*.. The problem is the transition from how year one was towards how year 2 has been designed for us.. But I'm sure it will be alright :) I'm waiting to see some reviews before I go ahead and buy anything, House of wolves was a real let down for me besides the completely unrelated Trials of Osiris

Nobody who is complaining plays multiplayer games with level systems, duh
