YOU are the next Tower/Reef vendor - Pitch your idea
You know you, yeh? You know The Tower and The Reef, yeh?
Well in the next patch YOU have your own area in one of the social spaces.
What are you? Where are you? Why are you there? What use are you to anyone? Explain yourself!
You can be anything you like, just make it good or I will punch.
Come up with a good idea and you can have a vendor stall :)

[spoiler]Shader Design Hut!
My idea is to persuade that old bitch who sells a few boring shaders to retire so I can take her spot.
I'd sell an empty shader palette - all grey when you buy it and your character will look like a tit.
However I also sell hundreds of colours, patterns, shines, shimmers, glows and hues. You can buy 3 to put into your shader in whatever order you like.
Try before you buy! You will have half a screen showing the colour options and the other half showing your guardian and the effects the changes would have.
Fill your shader palette up and go on your way.
Once your shader is complete, it is locked and can not be changed, so you'll need to come back to me if you want a new one ;-)[/spoiler]
edit - Wowsers peeps, with all these cool ideas, we might have to ask Bunj to open up the closed area down near the Speaker! We gots lots of stuff and this hype is totes real!

I would sell exotic and legendary beards. And you don't have to be male, or even organic. I sell to all. I also do custom orders for larger beards for ships and sparrows.

Not exactly an all new original idea, but I think it would be awesome if they opened up the doors by the speaker and new monarchy rep as the weapons market. You can have booths with Tex Mechaninca, Cassoid, Suros, Häkke, Omolon, Daito and Crux/Lomar vendors offering their goods. It would also be cool if Bungie implemented a system in which the prices of the weapons are determined by popularity with the players: eg. If Tex Mechanica sells 50% of all foundry weapons a certain week, their prices would go up the next week and the foundry with the lowest sales would have the lowest prices. Each foundry could have their own reputation system in which two is gained by buying and using weapons as well as completing bounties for them. After you reach a certain rep level the foundry vendor for that respective foundry would grant you a quest for the foundry's designated exotic weapon. For example: After you reach level 7 with Tex Mechanica, you enter a cutscene the next time you visit the Tower in which their Tower representative rewards you with a lead for materials necessary to build their new shotgun, The Chaperone. This would add a new layer of depth to the foundries and to exotic weapons by introducing you to the weapon and foundry lore through the specific quest.

The Mad King, It's a Faction which sells regal looking gear. It's down a side alley and up a hidden set of stairs. It opens out into a large open area and has a bone throne in the back. I sit on the throne. I sell gear for a currency called "A Trophy of Skill. You obtain these by getting medals like Breaker and Relentless. The orange and black ones. As well as Mad King exotics for "A Trophy of Obliteration". You obtain these for getting Sum Of All Tears and Unbroken Medals. Yellow and Black ones. Amour, Warlock (W), Titan (T), Hunter (H). The Mad King's Crown (W, T, H) The Mad King's Gloves (W) The Mad King's Robe (W) The Mad King's Tread (W) The Mad King's Grip (T) The Mad King's Chest-Plate(T) The Mad King's Boot (T) The Mad King's Gauntlet (H) The Mad King's Heart (H) The Mad King's Stride (H) Bond of The Mad King Mark of The Mad King Cloak of The Mad King If this gets enough replies, I will try to come up with some inventive exotics.
