YOU are the next Tower/Reef vendor - Pitch your idea
You know you, yeh? You know The Tower and The Reef, yeh?
Well in the next patch YOU have your own area in one of the social spaces.
What are you? Where are you? Why are you there? What use are you to anyone? Explain yourself!
You can be anything you like, just make it good or I will punch.
Come up with a good idea and you can have a vendor stall :)

My idea is to persuade that old bitch who sells a few boring shaders to retire so I can take her spot.
I'd sell an empty shader palette - all grey when you buy it and your character will look like a tit.
However I also sell hundreds of colours, patterns, shines, shimmers, glows and hues. You can buy 3 to put into your shader in whatever order you like.
Try before you buy! You will have half a screen showing the colour options and the other half showing your guardian and the effects the changes would have.
Fill your shader palette up and go on your way.
Once your shader is complete, it is locked and can not be changed, so you'll need to come back to me if you want a new one ;-)[/spoiler]
edit - Wowsers peeps, with all these cool ideas, we might have to ask Bunj to open up the closed area down near the Speaker! We gots lots of stuff and this hype is totes real!

My wares are randomized I will let you trade a weapon or armor of legendary or less status for a random piece of gear of the same quality, the perks will be random and the type of gear will be random but in the same category. So a legendary weapon will always be a legendary weapon but not always the same type of weapon. For example you could trade a legendary handcannon and get a legendary sniper, or trade a legendary helmet for a hunter and get a legendary chest for the warlock. No exotics allowed My prices are as follows: Common - 5 Legendary Marks Uncommon - 10 Legendary Marks Rare - 25 Legendary Marks Legendary - 50 Legendary Marks Pre TTK Gear - 200 Legendary Marks for a CHANCE To get pre TTK Gear You can come to me as often as you can afford it.

Me top seller is an Item that is single use but it allows you to change your race, gender and appearance, only 25 Strange coins. Another item I have changes the hue and looks of Ward of Dawn, allowing for different colors to fit specific guardians, even the way it looks, imagine a WoD that looks crystalized. Custom shaders, you decide what you look like. Paint jobs for sparrows including decals and emblems of accomplishments. Weapon shaders

I would be the counterfeit guy, strange coins, glimmer, motes of light? you got it!! I make a convincing fraudulent product and we can make xur go bankrupt in no time. I would have to be like the iron banner though, only here for a week at a time, and then disappear for a while to dodge the law enforcement.

New vendor: Guardian Archives -view all grimiore that's been unlocked and unlock more. *players with max grimiore will automatically be level 5 and have 5 lore packages waiting for them. Number of cards unlocked determines your level. -new stories and grimiore will be released each month -view all character stats -view triumphs and achievments More content to come. I have a lot of other ideas but I just shared one for you guys.

A vendor that sells a book. What's in the book? Grimoire cards. You can purchase the book, then as grimoire cards are earned you have to pick them up like a package. Each card earned gives rep, and the rep goes towards reward packages, similar to what we have now. The book will be viewable when in that public space at say the vendor or a terminal. You can page through this book to read the grimoire. And Bungie will be adding short playable cut scenes to go along with some cards. There will also be a sharing option so you and your friends (fireteam) can explore grimoire togther, and compare cards.

I'd be a new Gunsmith in the Reef. Instead of selling greens and the occasional blue, I roll your greens into blues, and your blues onto legendaries with a random perk roll. Same look, different perk set.

Private, invite only (within fireteam) spaces in public areas. Think of a vault like space where you walk into a room. You can customize the arrangement of colors styles etc. There are areas within this room if you will, where armor, weapons and the like can be showcased. Maybe a weapon rack, where scrolling across gives you the stats. Same for armor.

The Mechanic I sell vehicles and mechanized companions. You can choose to carry a sparrow, two seater buggy, 4 seater buggy, or mechanized companions/mounts. Will cost legendary marks upon TTK release. I require reputation to gain access to each different class of vehicle. I have bounties that include activities like miles logged, enemy vehicles destroyed, vehicle kills and races won. Once a week, I host a death race event where you can earn marks, random vehicle drops, and mods.
