While compiling data and text for a master post I am putting together on the subject of Titan history, philosophy, and lore I stumbled upon what seems to be a very important piece of information. The 28th of July, 0061. After some though and counsel with Anonpig it seems totally feasible that 0061 could be the year. This is because after an age usually the year count gets set back to 0, making it the 28th of July 0061, City Age. Why is this important? Upon deeper inspection it seems that this date appears exclusively upon Titan marks and banners. With this piece of info in tow I would venture to say that this date can only represent one of two things: The date of founding for the Titan orders or the date of the Battle of the Six Fronts. These dates are heavily weighted in Titan history and lore and as such would be something Titans find important enough to memorialize at every turn. I would say with recent information and breakthroughs that the date representing the Six Fronts is more likely because the Titan orders were present long before the Six Fronts. This leads to another piece of information that can give us insight into the timeline of Destiny, we are in the 12th era of the Titan orders which is gleaned from a Titan mark sold by the Speaker. [url=http://imgur.com/wi1L3Tc]Season of Ages XII[/url] If the date is for the Six Fronts then the city had been in at least in its infancy for 61 years before the Six Fronts. Also since the Titan order's founding roughly coincides with the founding of the City, and they are in their 12th era. It is entirely possible that the an era is about 10 years, making Titan order is around 120 years old, and thus also the City. Either way this seems to be the only solid date we have for our timeline and as such is our first and also most vital piece of timeline information we have thus far and I am ecstatic to be able to share it!
