a lot of downvoting in this thread. i challenge anyone who considers himself a man to explain why he would have a problem rocking a pink shader. i would wear it like a motherf@#king boss because i give zero fks what anyone else thinks about me. the difference between something being considered to be really cool or really lame is marginal to someone who truly doesn't give a shit. #wisdom

  • I wear what I want and I personally love the old guard as black and greys are my favorites, if a pink shader was given I would not wear it, not because of something as petty as longing to fit in, but because it looked unappealing to me personally, and personally gloowho looked like crap I hate the new raid gear and disdained the ToO gear they all look ascetically displeasing to me so I will not use/wear them. Now will others? Sure but I like to think it's because they are feeding a rather large superiority complex, and the mild adrenaline high from it makes them feel amazing...or they just think it looks cool

  • Fair enough. As one who has been with dead orbit for over a year, I can agree with your aesthetic. But I think that showing solidarity towards good causes does not necessarily feed superiority nor inferiority complices. Sadly, a large faction of people dislike pink out of adherence to a gender-specific cultural norm. To me, that makes it that much more appealing as I tend to prefer marching to the beat of my own drum. For example, I happen to have a large collection of pink ties. Why? Because they show confidence without the arrogance of red (power) ties. It's all about the subtext of the color and the emotional response it elicits in others. In sales situations, it put potential buyers at ease and helps to establish trust and rapport. So yeah. To reiterate, I would wear the shit out of a pink shader and would wear pink bunny ears every day if I could. ;)

  • And you have the right to, I won't belittle you for doing so nor will I hold any animosity towards you, as everyone has their own style and should be able to express themselves however they want. It's this that makes me a little upset that cloaks, marks, and bonds now all have armor as I love the original scarf I got with my hunter but can no longer wear it and be competitive, that is the same with the devil bond that verricks sells apart from the ascetic I don't even know how they can feasibly block bullets
