Their freedom of religion covers them choosing not to work for government agencies that issue marriage licenses. It doesn't cover them choosing to violate the law.

Putting someone in jail for following their religion violates their basic right of Freedom of Religion.

Freedom of religion doesn't mean you can break the law without consequence.

So does the new Law force people to break their religious standards? If not, then the woman should go free. If so, then you've just made every basic right we have void.

Can this Law overstep Freedom of Religion though? Because she's practicing her religion and about to be put in jail for her religious beliefs.

She is going to jail for breaking the law. Freedom of religion doesn't supersede the law in this case.
