That doesn't answer the questions. Are you 40 and only started playing a month ago? Are you 20 trolling the forums?
I'm not asking where you live and what your politics are. I'm not asking for your bank number or for your home address.
I'm asking how old you are and when did you start playing video games. Two questions that can inform me on who's talking and what knowledge do you have on the actual facts.
Look I'll start. I'm 20 and I've been playing games since I was 4. The first rated M game I played was Turrok Evolution when I was 5. I am still a functioning member of the society I live in. I have no criminal record. I never engaged in risky behavior. I have a social life.
Most things you are talking about are lies. There is no correlation between violence and violence in video games. There are actual scientific studies that proves this since the 1990s. It's as much as a false stereotype as people who are heavily tattooed and black men in hoodies are criminals.
There are even benefits that were found from people who played video games from an early age to people who didn't. Those who did experienced better cognitive functions than those who didn't. They experienced better problem solving skills than those who didn't. They experienced better social skills than those who didn't.
Either we can have a civil conversation about this or you can just say that I'm lying. To which I know you're just trolling. And I won't make another response. But please answer the questions before responding if you're willing to have a civil because I don't want any assumptions about who I'm talking to. I like being well informed. I liked being educated. I don't like making assumptions. Now can you please.
