Thanks for the input but stats says otherwise, and even Bungie agrees that Defender is too weak in pvp.

Yeah it's weaker but so what, titans are not forced to use it, buffs other than something to make melee more worthwhile will be overkill. If you can't do well as a bubble titan it's because you need blink+shotgun or shoulder charge or free super kills to do well.
