Yes. She can only be impeached by the Kentucky legislature. That can't happen until they are back in session. As a result she is now jailed for refusing a court order & is being held in contempt.

Thanks, the US systems are quite different to the UK ones in many respects so it can be a little hard to get my head around.

Yeah, she has the option to either comply or resign, but has instead decided to make a spectacle of it all leaving the judge no choice but to fine or jail her. However, because she is supported by so many dummies who agree with this discrimination, the judge knows any fine levied would be countered by donations. Therefore, jail.

This woman has also gone through several marriages & mothered children from other men while married. This is a gamble to make money and fame, not a moral stand.
