Make sure you are playing weekly activities that have a chance for an Exotic drop. Having 3 characters that can complete every activity every week will increase your potential for Exotic drops. Such activities include: Weekly Nightfall Strike Vault of Glass Atheon Level 30 Vault of Glass 'Exotic' Chest Level 30 Crota's End Crota Level 33 Crota's End Deathsinger any difficulty Prison of Elders Treasure Key Chest Also, make sure you complete the Weekly Heroic Strike every week. 9 Strange Coins times 3 characters is 27 Coins a week. You can buy a lot of Exotics from Xûr if you save up.

You may try completing Nightfalls, Raids, and Prison of Elders, as these all (possibly) provide Exotic drops. If not, Xûr [i]may[/i] sell it in the upcoming weeks.
