Hello. I have been lurking in the forums for about a month now, and have recently begun to speak up and input my pitiful two cents where I can about the game. Lol This feedback is not so much just for Bungie and Activision, but for all Year One Guardians of the game. Being a launch day player of this game, I can understand people's frustrations about the game and the decisions the developers have made in regards to the future of the gameplay and game overall. The most notable is the fact that your year one gear and weapons will be obsolete and that Bungie will be taking your favorites away. However, you still have choices. Now, this may come off as a little crazy, but I'm going to say it... If you still want to use your Year One gear, USE IT! It's not like they took them completely out of the game, because if they did that, THEN, you would have cause to worry. And it's not like we can't use them during the story missions, because the majority of us will be at level 32 or 34 when TTK drops, so our old weapons can still carry us through maybe one last time (because I would not recommend taking most of them into the raid lol). And we still don't know how the new light level system will effect weapon damage and won't until either the 8th or the 15th. I, for one, will still be using my Red Death, my Murmur, and ALL of the HoW Rocket Launchers I rerolled to have tracking on (lmao) into Year Two until the brakes fall off of them all. TL;DR: You still have a choice in using all your Year One gear and weapons. Just stock up on an ASSLOAD of synth now. Lol
