Okay, way to only read parts of the actual disclosed information.
Marty O'Donnel was fired for being a constant negative influence on the morale of his team, and other Bungie employees. Committing multiple cases of insubordination - even then Bungie defended him against Activision, until he just wouldn't stop.
The Law did not take his side for him being fired, the Law took his side because Bungie attempted to retain his shares after he was fired - which is illegal.
Him being fired was not illegal, he was purposely disobeying the higher ups in his workplace - in which you young kids would know this if you had ever worked a job before.

Not the issue or the point that was being made... What you have here is factual proof that Bungievision gutted the game to sell it to us in pieces. It's mother-blam!-ing plain as day. The story was changed, the game is a soulless money making machine at this point, maybe in 2-3 years it will be what was promised at launch... But as of right now it definitely has a ways to go.

Edited by Fur Hammerlock: 9/5/2015 2:18:31 PMThere is absolutely no proof of this, not even a single form. Please list your sources before you claim your opinions as "Facts". Marty throwing a tantrum because of Activision wouldn't have been because they were "cutting content out" - considering he was in Music Composition.

The -blam!- did you read... The source is right there... It states that major chunks of the story were re written in August while the game was supposed to come out in September causing a delay. The actual lawsuit and shit doesn't mater, nor does the dude who composed the music... Don't get me wrong it's cool he got his pay and stuff and he was a legit composer, but the point of what the TC was making is that it clearly states in the article that story chunks were re written.

Edited by Requiascat: 9/5/2015 12:42:19 PMThe only sensible response thus far. Clearly you actually read the article--as I did--and came to the same conclusion. Marty tried to make a stand against Activision. Bungie said, 'Marty now is not the time, and how you're handling it is unprofessional.' Marty kept-on with his shenanigans "...even interrupting press events..." and Bungie was forced to act. Bungie tried to keep his shares of the company stock and Marty sued to get them back. Nothing in that article even insinuates that Bungie is 'being controlled nefariously by Activision' but that's how everyone in this f#$king forum is going to take it...OP included.

It's because people like the OP lack the ability of reading comprehension, it appears, anyway. Either that, or they only read the first paragraph and instantly claim GR33D!!1!!11
