Activision will run Bungie's name into the ground and dump Bungie when they can no longer siphon money from the player base. Activision ruins anything it touches - this article only confirms more of what many already knew about Activision's corruption.

Edited by ZionFury7: 9/5/2015 6:54:07 PMThat's what I am afraid of, Activision already took what it wanted and made its profits. Bungie should have found sponsorship or partnership with another bigger gaming publisher, but unfortunately that would have required them to relocate overseas or away from Seattle, their current home base seeing as though they were originally based in South Side Chicago over a decade ago. I truly believe all the pieces for Destiny would have made it "destined" to be greater than Halo. I want to say "Time will only tell," but everything hinges on September 15th-18th, 2015 and Bungie knows that, while Activision sits on its corrupted laurels enjoying their profits. I hate anything Corporate driven, I hate it.

A smaller company like Bethesda would have loved a deep, interesting backstory like Destiny's original lore before it chopped up and repurposed. I think that when companies get too big, they forget their roots and lose their focus and commitment to the loyal fans that got them there. That's why Bethesda won't go big - they want a tight-knit community and complete control over the quality of every game they publish... I don't know what Microsoft did that made Bungie leave, but it ultimately cost Destiny's quality in the end. I think that under Microsoft Bungie would have at least kept creative control over the game - fans and Bungie's integrity would've been intact. Now the franchise and Bungie's name limp from release to release, never knowing if the game's going in the trash bin by players.
