Yeah actually ther is, it was made specifically for the PS4 to support higher quality without taking up as much space

    Sure, they can tell you that, but there's no such thing. It's all marketing. I guarantee you if you open up a PS4, the RAM is nothing special and definitely not specifically made for the PS4. Both consoles are just a computer with a special motherboard, nothing spectacular.

  • Yes but that's the thing, I have pulled apart a PS4 and it isn't just RAM from a sony computer.

    It's Samsung GDDR5 that has been on NVIDIA graphics cards previously, it's very high quality, but not specific to the PS4. Samsung K4G41325FC-HC03 is the model number. RAM is too generic to be made specific for a certain product. Way too much cost involved to do such a thing.
