I would prefer Halo, but it seems that Star Wars is more powerful.

 • Until you remember that Halo has way more planet crushers/destroyers. Like Havok nukes and planet glassing (we have to assume the covies fight alongside us)

 • A star destroyer can also glass a planet; just saying

 • But it is also a giant floating target for counter fire or small fighters slipping inside and blowing it up

 • Yea good luck; death star might have trouble with single manned fighters but star destroyers carry 72 tie fighters have shields, hangar bays have shields and doors, on oh yea 2000 gun batteries just for shooting down single crew fighters

 • And the pillar of autumn or the infinity could punch through those defenses by slip space right in front of them and then gutting it with a MAC or deploying ODSTs and making it a ground war

 • Pillar of autumn's FTL is SLOWER than a star destroyers and: mac cannons DONT have the power to punch through the shields unless you sustain fire for some time.

 • Your forgetting one thing. It's not FTL, the slip space cuts in and out of reality, and MACs don't have to penetrate. Use the -blam!-ing ship. It was a tactic used by the infinity vs the covies with good effect. Also their shields are calibrated for lasers not physical projectiles. It's show they can only defend against one type of attack at a time.

 • Yea no star destroyers shields are for blocking debris and small to medium asteroids and lasers (any asteroid due to cosmic speeds+ mass is roughly 500x more powerful than a NUKE of the same yield) yea hyperspace and slipspace are different but BOTH are FTL and star destroyers are faster. As for ground war ild love to see afew ODST teams get PWN3D by a legion of troopers and 4x AT AT (the battleforce aboard 1x star destroyer) and star destroyers ARE DESIGNED to sterilize the surface of a planet till its devoid of all life (just 1x btw)

 • So are covenant troop ships. We are thinking of humanity and covies as one army. The shields is an interesting point, but both human and alien forces have used EMPs alongside some of their salvos. Also, ODSTs are deployed in the hundreds for assaults and are trained to be guerrilla fighters. A single soldier with a grenade, cutter and grappling hook had no problem taking down an AT-AT and neither should an ODST with satchel charges energy blades and magnetic gear. Your also forgetting the SPARTANs and normal Marines to add as force multipliers.

 • Your also forgetting they have to get thru nearly 2000 trained troops/galactic marines with blasters, heavy blasters, blaster turrets, snipers, shock troops with rockets, and each storm troop has a grenade charge that's double the yield of a thermal detonator, an they gotta chew through that before they get to the at at.

 • Or drop an HEV pod right on top of it. You're forgetting how ODSTs get to planets. They're bloody missiles. And it would be the marines that would have to get through it. And the clones aren't a threat, they can't hit shit.

 • Missles can be intercepted; Theyre called lasers. Clones hit plenty, the storm troopers are only inaccurate in the old movies; they hit plenty in everything else. As far as droppin drop pods on top of targets, yea that'll do dmg, soon as they land tho they are sitting ducks for the second wave of troops or the heavy artillery in the back.

 • Yes that type of travel is FTL travel but not the same kind a star destroyer uses. And what about my other points? Can you top those?
Precursors are literally immortal and their constructs are invulnerable to all forms of damage that isn't a Halo. The precursors are basically gods. They are older than our universe, they control death, they create life and entire universes for fun, and they can change their physical forms at will. They can even choose to not have a physical form.
• Oh yeah, I forgot about that. But then again, everyone on the Halo side would also die from the Halo Ring's explosion, so it would be a stalemate.

 • Halo rings can be shot in a precise beam too, going so far that can target single specific ships. Also; there are shield worlds which negate the Halo-effect.
