Short version all weapons will get tuned. Some a lot some very little.
What I am hearing is auto rifles are going to be back in style. The last stream showed the suros legendary auto that we get for preorder doing 600 crit damage.
Hand cannons are suppose to just loose some range and mag size.
Pulse and scouts are suppose to be getting a little longer zoom on there optics and larger mag sizes.
Basicly bungie has said the weapons tuning was done in by he hopes of grating weapon classes that stand apart from each other. So you don't have people like me that snipe with fatebringer (hand cannon) and don't ever have a need for any other weapon. So that players will want to carry a few different style weapons to use in different situations. So enemy is at range might want a scout instead of a hand cannon. That kind of thing.
I don't think this patch is going to be do bad. But with that being said I am making preporations. Like saving a few autos and pulse or scout rifles instead of trashing them on site. And I mostly use shotty now but I'm holding a few fusions in case they are the new weapon of choice.
