A man is lying under a pile of newspapers as Chelovek runs past. He wakes up, and his eyes widen as he realizes what the Russian soldier is wearing. He pulls out a large-barreled rifle, flipping a switch on his body armor.
Freeze!

*Chelovek stops and turns around, both arms extended and weapons at the ready* Who are you? You didn't see that back there did you?
-
The man pulls away the blanket covering him, revealing American gear and insignia. Chelovek is able to recognize his rifle as an M35 MIR, or "Spleen-puncher", built solely for ripping apart Russian heavy plating. Yeah, I saw that. Sick commie -expletive-. First Berlin, then here. Why do you always follow me?!
-
Edited by Master Chief: 9/6/2015 3:27:44 AMFollow you? I don't even know who you are! I've seen a million men just like you! You American Anti-Armor troops are all the same. Shooting first, asking questions later. Even on friendlies. Surprised you haven't tried to kill me yet.
-
The man glares. Shut your mouth. It wasn't shoot first in Munich. It was "rip my buddies apart" first, and you fancy suit-heads were at the front of the line.

Edited by Ex PI: 9/6/2015 2:16:25 PMThe man lowers his rifle, powering it down. It's a deal, I suppose. After all, it's not like I'm missed much on Earth. My team was wiped out when the Chinese hit Ramstien. The war's still going, but it's slow. He pats his rifle. Mabel here got a software update, and the Chinese have gone in for your side.
-
The Chinese? With us? How is the US still alive?
-
Edited by Ex PI: 9/6/2015 1:25:53 PMThe soldier looks somber. Well, let's just say the world glows in the dark now.
-
Damn. They had to use nukes, huh.
-
The soldier looks offended. Not us, you. The Ukranian partisans took Sevastapol and threatened to use the nukes on the Gagarin to level Moscow. So whoever had his finger on the button pushed it.
-
Hmm. Well, it's all dust in the wind now, I suppose.
-
The soldier nods. It's not so bad, actually. Our point-defense systems both worked a little too well. We all have to wear radiation suits for the next 10 years, and the squirrels have extra eyes, but all in all Earth is doing OK.
-
10 years? More like 10,000 years lol.
Alright then. *Sirens can be heard in the distance. The Cyberpolice have been alerted* Damn it. They probably saw what I did on one of those cameras of theirs. I gotta run. See you around. *Chelovek runs down the alley*
-
The soldier races after him. They'll get us both, and all the bullets in the world won't hurt one of their cars. You're gonna need Mabel to get out of here. And that means you need me. He quickly flips a few switches mounted on the weapon, hands the rifle to Chelovek, and points to the CPD cruiser that is now speeding towards them. Go ahead, try it out.
-
*Chelovek fires a shot at the cruiser. The round screams through the air and cleaves into the car, shattering it* Holy shit. Reminds me of those railguns they gave us. 'Cept those were fully automatic and actually fit us.
-
The soldier takes his rifle back and pats it lovingly. I didn't put this thing in auto because full-auto is for tanks. It's on semi-auto right now. Lower yield too.
-
Nice piece.
I'm going afk for a while, bye.
-
K bai.
Edited by Master Chief: 9/6/2015 4:22:22 AM
I was gonna have his flashbacks explain it to where Russia eventually took over the entire European and Asian continents but the US started nuking everything and so Russia did the same, which basically ended the planet. The EU is weaker than shit.
-
Oh. Ok then. It's your story.
-
I gotta go sleep nao. Will finish in morning.
