Just a thought. Whenever I go on one of my speeches about bringing variety and feelings to the flood, someone always gets mad and calls me names or says it's fine how it is. What's your opinion on change? Does offtopic need it? Do you wish it upon offtopic?
EDIT: Apparently, people are so scared of me and change that they even hid and reported my post.

Who are you?

Shut up peace, nobody wants to hear your melodrama.

If we're talking about the whole "bring the old CoC back" argument then it's because people don't want their freedom more restricted even though it's necessary to actually clean up the forums. Face it, the forums are in a terrible condition right now. We have porn spammers, gimmicks everywhere, the people who worship them, religious arguments left right and centre and gigantic walls of copypastas. If we're talking about toxic people needing to change, it's the Internet, when you give a person anonymity, a lot of the time they'll be complete assholes. Anonymity is a driving factor behind that and it can't be changed so there'll always be toxic people, just have to get used to em.

In the wise words of Stewie Griffin, "I DON'T LIKE CHANGE!"

Go back to Santa Monica with your change

There are a lot of conservatives on this site compared to 4 years ago Most of the old guard (who happened to be liberals) left and the void became filled with a bunch of newfags (such as XDC) Conservatives are afraid of change Thus most of Off Topic is afraid of change

Because 201.50 in change won't fit in my wallet
-
For some reason, no matter what it is people don't like change. I myself can not tell you why, but just take into account how people react when things change in a game series and that's a very easy way to show that people don't like change. (Ex: Halo Reach)

( ͡' ͜ʖ ͡')

It needs 201.50

Change is coming! Or is it winter? I don't even know anymore.
-
This is the internet. I cannot think of one website/community that does not react negatively to change.
-
Is change measurable here? Seems like the usual business to me.

Wut topics?

They think they're still the Flood. It's over. Humans are naturally afraid of change, and this is a perfect example.
-
What exactly do you want to change?
-
Because most people here are americans.
-
Without a plan for improvement the concept of change is meaningless
-
Most are used to the confines of their rent free basement apartments. Little changes in these dark arenas, new games and action figures compose most of the upset in their worlds. Beware the neck beards and fedoras.

If you've ever had your back broken by a shit ton of quarters, then you'd be scared too.
