Sales don't determine which console is better. Anybody could have bought ps4 blind in the first week not knowing anything about it. That's why Xbox is making a comeback. This Christmas I bet there will be more Xbox one sales >ps4 not a preference post but now Xbox one isn't just for TV. Also Sony is very close to bankruptcy so they are trying to get everyone to buy their console. If there was no ps4 there would be no Sony because their tvs and PCs aren't good anymore and have extremely low sales
