Even crota has trouble with blink guys, can't we just admit it's better than other jumps? :D
In all seriousness though, the main issue with blink is that for a small period of time while using it you are invincible, as highlighted by the above video. This allows blinkers to tank Foh's, Nova Bombs, rockets, sticky grenades and even golden guns if their timing is on point. No other jumps give this kind of power and it simply makes blink the best jump in the game. While it should be unique, it shouldn't be automatically better either than double jump/glide so I think some kind of nerf is needed, though I would argue not a major one.

im not sure what invincibility you speak of, ive played both hunter and warlock and had extensive exp with blink, and i cant tell you how many times ive died mid-blink. and on the note of nurfing, if we nurf blink because of shotgunners then we have to nurf sliding shotgunners as well. because when i see a shotgunner at long range start shooting him and he slides and kills me in one hit from med range thats way more troublesome than blinking. which is predictable and you cant get shot til after blink ends, but you can shoot mid slide.
