The Vault of Glass was a Vex experiment to try and write themselves into reality and harness the ontological powers of the Gorgons, Oracles, and Templar outside the Vault. At the center was Atheon, who tied together all times and controlled the conflux system. The Black Garden is the place where, supposedly, the Vex are 'born'. Here they worship the Black Heart
