[b]At the base of Nicholas (Nick) and Reginald (Reggie) built, a fire has engulfed the broken portal. The two brothers slowly get off the ground, brushing the ashes off of them. They turn towards the strange team that walked out of a landed vertibird. They each wear black uniforms, except for a taller one who wears a cape and cowl, bearing a pistol. He strides towards them, and stops about 10 meters away. He pulls down his cowl to reveal a burned and scarred face. No one moves[/b]
STRANGE MAN-"HELLO! So glad you could make it!"
[b]The twins cough into their sleeves, looking at the carnage before them.[/b]
REGGIE-"WHO ARE YOU???"
STRANGE MAN-"Who am I? Who am I? I'm the guy they send when someone deserts from Red Baron."
[b]Nick glances at Reggie[/b]
NICK-"You worked for Red Baron?????"
REGGIE-"It wasn't that simp-"
NICK-"You.... You were my brother.... I TRUSTED YOU! AND YOU BETRAYED ME??? No.... Not just me... Arnold, Beatrice, everyone. You..."
STRANGE MAN-"Hate to break up your little squabble, but now that Nicky here knows about our little ordeal, I'm going to have to kill both of you."
[b]Nick stares at Reginald, who bares a look of guilt. The strange man raises his pistol and shoots Reggie square in the chest. In the heat of the execution, Nick takes off into the carnage.[/b]
STRANGE MAN-"Heh. You think you can run. We'll be back. We'll be back..."
[b]the crew gets into the vertibird and takes off, flying away from the smoke. Nick continues running down the hill the base was built on.[/b]

[b]He looks at her, confused.[/b] "English?"

[b]she shakes her head[/b]

[b]He pauses for a moment.[/b] "I wonder..." [b]He slips the card back in and replays what she said. It automatically translates it to English[/b]

[b]she said[/b] "Do you need anything?"

[b]He shakes his head and gives her a thumbs up.[/b]

[b]she nods and walks out[/b]

[b]He zooms in on the face on his tablet.[/b] "Who.... Oh no..."

[b]no one walks into the room after that[/b]

It briefly shows the Beatrice, Nick, Arnold, and Uriah running away from a blazing building. Steel beams fall off of the buildings structure, and explosions burst as Nick carries an unconscious Reginald on his back. In the distance, a man stands with a katana, eying them. He charges, and they look back, only to see him fall and be consumed by fire. At the last image of the mans face, Nick pauses it and puts the screens side by side. the faces are identical.[/b] "This is worse than I thought..." [spoiler]when will I be able to have Reggie and Nick meet the Professor?[/spoiler]

[b]the General walks in with the Professor[/b]

[b]He nods, thanking her, and they stand there, awkwardly wait for her to leave.[/b] NICK-"This is... Kind of private."

The Professor-"Dead River... that was the name of the operation where we met the uh.... whatshisface, Katana-Guy right? The assassin sent to kill us?" Nick-"That's the one." The Professor-"What about him?" Nick-"He's back." The Professor-"Not good. Not good, at all. Wait, why are you all here?" Nick-"He planted some sort of explosive on the portal, when we activated the portal, the thing blew up in our faces. He landed, and revealed that Reggie was a double agent. I was able to escape before he shot me, but then some "Queen" woman tackled me and injected me with something. Next thing I know, I'm here, and Reginald is sitting beside me, doctors prying a bullet out of his chest." The Professor-"So whats our next move? I'm stuck here until further notice, and knowing what little information I have on the Queen, I doubt they will let YOU go, either." Nick-"So that means we're both stuck?" The Professor-"Yup."

The Professor-"What about Reggie?" Nick-"Personally, I would like to blow his brains out." The Professor-"No. If we kill him, we're only helping our old friend here. We need to stay strong." Nick-"I guess you're right..." [b]they sigh and lean against the door, looking at Reggie on the operating table, still unaware of your presence.[/b] The Professor-"So now its just Beatrice we're missing."

[b]the general marks her down for capture [/b]

[spoiler]shit![/spoiler] The Professor-"Funny thing was, they had planned on blackmailing me to help them." Nick-"Really? With what??" The Professor-"It had something to do with you two and Beatrice. I don't know what they had planned, but I knew that the Matriarchy had a base that was quite close to yours." Nick-"Think they'll still hold you to it?" The Professor-"Almost definitely." Nick-"Shit." The Professor-"Deep shit. Very deep shit." Nick-"Very deep shit indeed..."

Meanwhile on mars [b]some troops and a mech are out looking for Beatrice[/b]

[b]She walks the shattered streets of the abandoned alien city, hands in pockets, whistling.[/b]

[b]the soldiers approach her[/b]

[b]She sees them heading towards her, and decides she'd rather not stay to see what happens, she dives into a sewer grate, and takes off running through the tunnel.[/b]

[b]you run into General Alexia who tackles her [/b]

[b]She quickly puts one arm under Alexia's neck, the other behind it, and flips Alexia over her. She then hops up in a defensive stance.[/b] (You forget that each of these are highly trained agents)

[b]she gets up and takes out a pistol and shoots a dart into her neck[/b]
