I agree with you, but they will never do that. They want players to HAVE to do the raid a bunch of times to get elemental primaries. The thing that sucks the most is that we are loosing [b]a bunch[/b], of primary raid weapons, and most likely will get 3 good ones from the new raid. That's what is such bullshit about not ascending. I had a scout for arc and solar burns. I was really hoping to add a void one in TTK. Now I will have only 1 elemental scout, that may or may not, be any good.
