In my definition of sentience, I take it to mean that they have higher intelligence. You basically have me an article saying that animals have feelings. Those are defensive mechanisms. To a supporter of animal sentience, a monkey attaching our according someone that attacked it shows sentience. To me, it means that the animal had linked that person with pain or hunger or what ever. Animals have never tried communicating with us, and they have never made advanced tools.

Your definition doesn't matter here. We using facts, not opinions. Any other stupid thing you want to say, or are you done?
