Stephenson and Shiroe are escorted to the crime scene by uniformed CPD officers.
[b]This way, sir and madam.[/b]
The murder site is marked off by yellow holotape, but the slight stench of a fresh corpse permeates the air.
A dead body lies on the pavement, covered in stab wounds and pyrokenetic burns.

*Shiro takes a look at the body and grimaces as she looks away* "Dayuum. Just the stench is enough to convince me. Whoever did this really over did it." *She pulls out a handkerchief and covers the lower half of her face with it*

Stephenson kneels down next to the body. [i]Shiroe, have your little friends note this down. Wounds are one-centimeter across, look about 5 inches deep. Probably some kind of spear or dagger.[/i] He flips the body over, examining the burns. [i]Burns appear pyrokinetic, with variable width. That means they were projected towards the victim, probably from behind.[/i] [i]No facial scarring, no tattoos.[/i] He motions her forward. [i]Alright, c'mere. See what you can find.[/i]

"Understood." [b]Stim activated. Systems active.[/b] *She puts away the kerchief as she crouches down and examines the body, careful not to touch it* "How detailed do you want it?"

Burned him from behind, then finished him off with a knife, or so it was made to look. But some of these cuts are wrong for a knife. Too long, wrong angle. Maybe sword, probably spear, like you said. There was a significant difference though, between when he was burned, and when he was cut. Probably there was an interrogation, but a short one." *She stands back up, her tone expressionless* "They got what they wanted."
