[b] Lance chuckles.[/b] "Yeah, most likely. What are you up to?" [spoiler] what, did Donovan but a bow? Or get some kind of augmentation?[/spoiler]

"I'm waiting for some orders to come in. I got a new bow from an under the table deal. It's called Cupid's bow. I shoot two things and they stick together."

[b] Lance raises his eyebrows.[/b] "interesting. I need a new sword. But this one has... Sentimental value."

"Are you just used to killing things with it or was it left behind by someone else?"

"My Dad's."

"Oh, okay. Have you tried to scribe it yet?"

"What do you mean?"

"Can't tempests see the lives of the people who used certain objects?"

[b] Lance jumped up in excitement and gives Donovan a hug.[/b] "I never thought about it. Give me one second, we're gonna try this. Ignore when my eyes go all glassy and what not."

He closes his eyes and they immediately re open, white and glassed over.[/b] ((Flashback)) [b] Chris May, in his mid-twenties and an older japanese man around his 40's are in kimonos, sparring with swords in a dojo. The katana Chris wields is identical to the one Lance has. After a few minutes of sparring, they bow and sit down on the mats.[/b] [i] "Thanks for the training, Sensei Hanzo. [/i] [i] "Anytime Chris. You're my best pupil. I didn't give you the Kirā for nothing," gesturing at the sword. "I only wish I had the matching one for the pair. Sadly it was stolen from me by a former pupil. [/i] [i] "Yes, I know Sensei. But one day I'll find it. I swear it.[/i] [i] "I have no doubt you will Chris." [/i] [b] The vision ends as Lance feels a sharp pain in his eyes and doubles over screaming.[/b]

[b]Donovan runs up to Lance.[/b] "Holy crap! Is there anything I can do?"

[b] Lance hisses in pain.[/b] Get me some damn water."

[b]Donovan rushes to the kitchen and gets a cup full of water. He gives Lance the water.[/b]

[b] Lance throws the cup of water onto his face, soaking him. He breathes heavily.[/b] "Okay, that's a little better. Holy shit."

"What the hell happened?"

"I saw my dad. With this sword and a guy who was his teacher in some dojo. His name was Sensei Ryu. And he called the sword Kirā. I think it's Japanese. He also said their was a matching one to it, but it was stolen by a former student. We'll continue this later Don, we've gotta get to work." [spoiler] I know this takes place after Etana calls them to work but that's what we'll say happened. I don't wanna type out what I have in mind at the same time as Aegis is happening.[/spoiler]
